I spent 3 years at Christian haven homes for boys in the early 90s I must admit they save my life. THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR SHOWING ME LOVE AND HOW TO BE A. MAN. Special love and shout out too the staff who held it down between 90 to 93. Rip TYLER JONES

I was sent there and place was great. There wasn't fights maybe two in the year I was there but this place helped kids slot. They take kids on a trip to Canada and it is amazing. They helped with schooling and served great food for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. I also took the two to three Dominican Republic as a mission trip to help build a school looking back now wish I stayed longer was an amazing part of life.

I have no idea what it is like there now I was there. In the early 90s and I'm reading all this bad stuff. It was alot of fights but the staff there did care. That place made me a better person. But alot changes in time I was almost 16 when I want and almost 18 when I left. I'm 41 now .

Terrible place to send kids. Gang violence, gang mentality. Most staff are NOT Christian and could care less about the kids because staff is severely underpaid. Decent kids come out worse because of exposure to gang mentality's from Gary and Indianapolis. Whites recently bought the dying company but their have been no improvements and if anything it is now worse as they accept ANY kid no matter how disturbed just to make a quick $$$ from your children. They feed the kids the cheapest garbage to save a buck. Runaways, fights, and violence are an everyday part of life here.

I worked there seversl years ago, but if it is still like it was when i worked there it is a terrible place. Their philosophy on how to help kids is just ridiculous and doesn't work. The kids weren't held accountable for anything. Rarely did i see a kid make any progress there and i worked there for 3 years.
