If you want a great straight flat path to run or bike, the Rt 66 branch of the Constitution Trail goes from Normal to Towanda. I usually meet friends at the Boyd Wesley Park in Towanda since it has a port o potty, parking and a pavilion. A great starting point for our run and it's never crowded!

Nice park off route 66 little pond tables are quite spacious.

This is a beautiful Park they have grills picnic tables a pond to go fishing or to sit and relax and a bike trail to walk or ride your bikes with your friends and family.

Always a wonderful time here....not much for the kids to play on, but very peaceful fishing and there is a pavilion for picnics and family gatherings and such! The town keeps the park very clean and plants very exquisitely placed in the perfect places for a great view!!! I stop here everyday for the pokestops too lol!

Nice place along Old Route 66 to toss in the fishing line. Didn't see any picnic tables but would be a great place to have a couple. Small parking lot and easy to miss as you're driving by. It looks like the access is blocked off and if you miss it heading towards Bloomington you got to go a long way before you can turn around.
