I've been a seasonal there since 1999. Our second home and feels like family there. A great friendly place!

We’ve been seasonals for over 16 years at the park. Lake Ladonna is a wonderful little hideaway, not too far from Chicago. The park is lush with big oak trees and each site has enough space in between.nOur current management has done a phenomenal job of beautifying the park and bringing back fun activities during the weekend for the visiting weekend campers.nLake Ladonna is a wonderful place for families with young children to come and play. Our lake is just perfect to cool off in on a hot summers day.nWe’ve made so many new wonderful friends since we started camping herenLake Ladonna is our little slice of heaven!

Lake Ladonna has been my second home for over 27 years. Both my children and now my grandchildren have grown up here. I recommend anyone to become seasonal if they can. It's a family friendly campground. I love it here. So come on out.

Went here to swim with my kids, $6 per person 7 and up. Parking is free. This is a great place for families and is very well maintained and clean. There is always a lifeguard on duty and they rotate every hour with a 10 minute break for everyone. There is no fish in the lake. They have a giant slide in the roped off section for younger kids. The other side has a rope swing and giant inflatable bounce pad, there are no floatation devices allowed in this side. The roped off swimming area for kids is maybe 4ft deep at the most and maybe around 10ft deep at the other end. The rope swing has a lifeguard on duty and stationed there as well. This is a superb place to hang out and swim, well staffed with lifeguards who pay attention, do their job properly, and are well trained!
