The campground was beautiful with access to very nice hiking. It’s a bummer we probably won’t camp here again because the campground host woman was incredibly unprofessional, passive aggressive, and unnecessarily rude.nThe first night she drove by and informed us of a noise disturbance from somewhere in the campsite. She specifically said she wasn’t sure who it was but was just driving around warning everyone. We were playing a card game around the fire, laughing and talking, and we had heard some other groups yelling and some car alarms going off, so we assumed we were not the problem and continued playing. About 10 minutes later she drove by again and said we had better be quiet immediately or she would be calling the conservation police on us. Seeing as though we hadn’t even received a formal warning it was us, this seemed a bit extreme. We quieted down and went about the rest of the night.nThe next day, the woman drove by on her cart more than 30 times looking at us. We saw her at her house pointing at us with another man and were unsure why we were now being specifically targeted at this point. We continued our day, and it started to rain, so we were tying a tarp to surrounding trees when she drove by again. My husband was a couple feet off the ground on a tree reaching for a rope slightly out of reach when she stopped and said “May I inquire as to what you are doing..” I think Karen’s attitude is implied here. We told her we were putting up a tarp for the rain, and she replied with “Um can you not climb the trees? You WILL fall, and I don’t really want to do the paperwork for that.” We apologized, and she drove away. Within an hour the conservation police were at our campsite to give us a warning about “Multiple noise complaints, climbing trees, and breaking things.” If this lady’s name isn’t truly Karen then I would be surprised. I feel this was a very unprofessional escalation of events. We are a group of 26-31-year-old professional adults, and we were treated like children.

Nicely separated tent camp sites with 3 or 4 sites per cluster--nice for larger parties or family with several tents. The pit toilets were clean and the water pump was a neat touch. Too bad there aren't showers.

A very lovely place. Lots of wildflowers and great clean spots for camping.

Really great campsite. Toilets were plentiful (with no odor), the campsites were well placed, no mosquitoes which is usually unheard of this time of year and right after heavy rain. We brought our own water but they had various hands pumps for washing water.nnThe attendant family was very friendly and helpful. Their little girl even gave my twins a hug when we arrived.
