Love's Travel Stop

Went for a tire pass with my bus like at any other Love’s. For some reason the GM doesn’t like getting business because he directed the mechanic to tell me they don’t do tire pass on my type of tires and that there’s air at the pumps. He never looked at my tires and must have assumed I only wanted air, when in reality I had just been through 800 miles of mountains and wanted a safety check. I started using Love’s for this service at the direction of a Love’s mechanic and have never had an issue at any other Love’s. I travel a lot but park nearby so was interested in seeing the shop here for my future needs but they lost their tire pass, $200 worth of a fuel sale, and who knows what else I would’ve done here in the future.nMy advice is to join the Flying J Rewards because they want business-you actually earn fuel discounts and shower credits with them. That was one strike to Love’s, but when this location acted the way they did today it’s game over for me. Sad.

Usually a good option for a stop. Has everything you could need. Bathrooms are pretty clean. Lots of food and snack choices.

New establishment, plenty of employees on hand. Large lot for vehicles and separate lot for truckers. Close to the interstate as you can get. Open 24hrs as expected, quick in and out.

Speedco??? Sarcasm?nTime is money!!!nCame in with a broken light bracket. Discussed probability of having to order the bracket at 8:30am. I understand having to wait my turn in line for work but order the bracket so it’s here when it’s time to work on my truck. Called into the bay at 12:30. It’s 3:30pm and nothing has been done including the fact that the bracket has not been ordered from Kenworth. Kenworth does have the part. 4:26pm and bracket is still not here. A business has to be honest with time estimates and if something changes the customer needs to know. Seems that the necessary staff had to attend 2 store meetings during this time and it has taken them away from what they needed to be taking care of. Customer service comes before staff meetings. Light bracket held on with 2 bolts shouldn’t take ALL DAY. The delay has not been because of workload but by poor organization or lack of organization all together. Part showed up at 5pm. 5:30 and Mechanic playing on his phone and the part is sitting on the drive tire of my truck. Day shift cleared out and left the night shift with the mess. 5:54pm and there is 1 person changing a tire for someone who got here at noon. NOBODY ELSE AROUND! Part still sitting on the drive tire but now there appears to be no management around to talk to?????? I have now been told that a mechanic is cleaning showers. 6:15 and another guy on his phone. Somebody seems to have picked up the part.nOnce someone got on the job, it took an hour. Done at 7:30pm.nMarch 3, 2021

Manager unhelpful — would not fix broken coffee machine and implied it was my tough luck. Also many unmasked people inside.
