I was a member for three years and was asked to leave after not respecting the managers wishes of not damaging equipment after a dyel guy complained I was slamming the weights. 125 pound straight leg deadlifts dropped from knee height onto the safety bar in a power rack constitutes damaging equipment in the managers eyes.
If you don’t believe me, sign up for this gym and experience how horrible it is for yourself! PLEASE STAY AWAY FROM THIS GYM. Their manager is an absolute JOKE and his name his Steven. They’ve had signs up exchanging personal training for 5 star reviews and there was a fault by their billing company that I had to dispute with my bank after two months of calling them to get it reversed. I started calling in December and it still wasn’t resolved in February, so I to dispute with my bank. Then somehow they managed to have that reversed and now I have to pay for something that I was told was a fault.nnThese people are an absolute joke. Take your business to planet fitness, or at least somewhere that has their stuff together.
New ownership has really improved the facility from cleanliness, organization, communication and amenities. With so many options and friendly staff, hands down the best gym in the Sycamore area.
Very clean, and we'll managed. Great place to get and stay fit and healthy!
The staff is very helpful and friendly.nThe exercise equipment has been kept disinfected during the pandemic.nThe treadmills are a little dated but they serve their purpose.
