Decent campground. No showers, vault toilets. More primitive type camping. The sites are somewhat secluded definitely not on top of each other. Would definitely come back again.

Always loved coming to pine ridge. Most of the time its quiet and private. Close to all the other sites, the beach here at pounds hollow, garden of the gods, rim rock, iron furnace, high knob, cave in rock and others. Its a great place to set a base camp. There are bathrooms and a camp store near Garden of the gods in case you missed something when packing.

Stayed 5 days. Walked the trail to Pound Lake from campground several times. Finally found the old zigzag trail. Much easier. This trail should be reestablished.

If you want to get away from cell service(ok at is a hit or miss) then this is the place. not a place for big rv's .no dump station water is tricky they have a loop for electric and a couple loops for tent

Beautiful sites, tucked into the forest. Well managed. In proximity to all of the great local hiking trails.
