Museum wasn't open due to Covid 19. Great place for a picnic.
I've always enjoyed the Laura Ingalls books and taking the tour of the hotel they worked and lived at added so much to what was shared in the TV series. It was totally different than I expected and so very interesting! A real eye opener!
Closed due to covid 19, had construction equipment parked in front of building. Could not really see anything.
It was a pleasure to tour the only building still standing in which Laura Ingalls Wilder lived as a child. Our tour guide must have been new; though quite nice, he didn't convince us of his facts. Burr Oak was, however, worth seeing!
Only stayed one night at the Hotel but had a comfortable bed and the Service was great.
