We enjoy several things on their menu to eat! My husband really enjoys a good cold frosty mug! He will drive 20 minutes from home just to get a mug of rootbeer! A&W is just a nice change from other fast food options! It's great to be able to eat in your car when it's nice out too!

This place is such a classic. There is so much to love here. First off, root beer, of course! It's made fresh and certainly tastes like it. You can always get yourself a cup, but I'd highly recommend the freeze. It's basically a milkshake or a blended float. Ice cream and root beer are blended together until smooth. It is amazing! The flavor jumps out at you, and before you know it, your cup is empty.nnThe burgers here are good, but I'll admit that I haven't had one since I was a kid. There's just to many other things that keep distracting me. One example is the the chicken strips. They are hand breaded and fried. The chicken is juicy and tasty, and the breading is delicious and full of flavor. The cheese curds are awesome too. I have a soft for curds, and these are some of the best around. Definitely up there with Culver's. The onion rings are great too! Try them with there Papa sauce. It's a good combination.nnThis location has the old fashioned car hop lay out outside similar to Sonic, but with an indoor dining area. The service here has always been good and timely. It's definitely worth the visit if you're in the area. Heck, it's worth a visit even if you aren't in the area. Fair warning though, you may have issues narrowing down just when you want to order with so many quality items on this menu.

I ordered one of the root beers that they make in house to go and they didn’t put any ice in the cup – that’s fantastic, it didn’t water it down any, and it is the best root beer you can get when it’s fresh like that! Good thinking!

Love this place...worth the short trip to Indianola...I do not go to other A&W restaurants.. Food comes out hot..onion rings are homemade here and terrific.

Food and service was great. A little pricey for hotdogs and cheeseburgers meals. French fries were over cooked. I'm sure they would have replaced them if we weren't already headed home.
