We have been going to the park at least once a week all summer to eat our take-out food during the pandemic. There are a couple of places to sit by a table to eat. One is an open shelter house along the road. We take our own tablecloth and drinks from home. Many times there are other people there with the same idea, often people we know. It has been something that we look forward to. We will certainly miss it when the weather gets too cold to sit there.nThe park has been recently updated and is very beautiful. It's fun to sit and watch others enjoying it as well. There is a small library station where you can share books, and another station to fix bikes. It is on the walking/bike path and is across from the elementary school so there is always something to watch.nOften on Saturday nights there's a Spanish speaking church service. Their music is awesome and we try to interpret a few words to figure out what they are saying.

I haven't been in the park since last summer. I live kinda close by so my phone/Google keeps asking me how it is. My phone also asks me how the Dordt prairie is too, I live across the street. I love where I live. The deer and pheasants are definitely one of my favorite things.

New cement bike paths, new enclosed event building, new low-touch restrooms, lighted parking.

It's a nice park, but I much prefer the old one where you could drive around and have nice parking under the trees, it could use a few more picnic tables you know scattered around. And I miss seeing how many campers were out there for the week. I miss the old park!

Not really a review, rather, just noticing... how could one not give gg park five stars!?
