Donald E. Davis Arboretum

Located in the center of college life next to the Presidents Mansion at Auburn University. Beautifully designed gardens and paths. Visited in the afternoon and it was kinda crowded. Social distance and masks were observed and required. This is a great place to relax, have a lunch, meditate or just be inspired. I would recommend a visit for anyone within a 2 to 3 hour drive. Plenty of places to eat within 10 minutes. Go and check out the Donald E. Davis Arboretum, you will not be disappointed. Plus, you might just be inspired.

What a lovely little arboretum! Though less than 5 acres, this is a peaceful series of walks centered around a dammed pond for turtles.nnThe labeling could be better, but the trails and bridges make the whole experience a pleasure.nnOne could rush through in twenty minutes, but at a leisurely pace, allow 45 minutes.nnThere is a plenty of parking and partial wheelchair accessibility.

A beautiful oasis in the midst of academia, a respite from the chaos of everyday living, a place to get away and commune with God's Creation. Take the time, wander amongst the flora and reconnect with yourself.

Loved it. Very nice walking paths, clean restrooms, educational plaques.

This was a great reason to take a day trip to Auburn. It's an outdoor classroom that was fun and educational for my children. We learned so much about Alabama's native trees.
