Great trail with great views! We had read that the trail is not safe for kids. I think it depends on how well-trained your kids are. Haha! If you don't trust them to not run off or if they have a tendency to not pay attention, then yeah, maybe it's not for them. There are probably 4-5 spots where if you fell off the trail, you'd probably be seriously injured. However, my 10 year old son and I never came close to falling off the trail, so you would have to be VERY careless. Other than that, it does get strenuous at times, so it's not for every skill level, but we did it with no issues. The first half will fool you into thinking it's very easy, so be prepared for the second half (assuming you go counter-clockwise).

Decent trail. Pretty trees, but mileage seemed off and following it could be tricky at times.
We went and the trail that is parallel to the lake was grown up really bad. We both picked 30+ ticks off if us during this hike. Beautiful views but someone needs to cut back the bush and make the trail hikable again.
Awesome little trail that runs along the lake. Some great ud83dudc4d views on this hike.
