Always a beautiful place for getting away and the closest mountain in my area. Once you reach the top there is a fire tower that's restored and a scenic panoramic view of lake Martin. From Daleville Alabama you take a left from the D.A.R.E. park and follow the signs.
This place is beautiful. Not a difficult hike at all and absolutely amazing scenery.
Very nice short trail, currently open only by the left side of the mountain. The tower is accessible with sportive kids. It gives access also to other longer trails.
Some friends and I go every saturday to get some exercise. The blue trail is nice and mellow, and the pink trail is a good challenge.
Amazing views of Lake Martin and eastern Alabama! The tower is the perfect distance to hike to!
