Love coming to swim here, they have picnic areas, bathrooms nearby, fishing, and you can grill your own food

Nice way to go camping! Lots of hiking near by. Be very stress free living.

We made reservations to stay three nights . The lake looked beautiful! Made the reservation with Nicole and told her our rig it self was 43’. She said we wouldn’t have any problems staying. We got there and needless to say we almost didn’t get out. My husband went and spoke with the gentleman in the office and they told us to turn around and go to site # 52. They said it was big enough for our rig. We drove down to check out the site ,it wasn’t big enough and there was no room to turn . That would have been a MAJOR problem!!!! we had to bail on the place . When I called to get our money refunded I spoke with Sara Darden. She said she was the manager. Explained everything to her and and she’s didn’t seem to care. She just said I’ll refund you! !!! Watch out people!!! They want your money regardless if you can even fit safely! ! They really need to educate the people making the reservations!!!!

Staff is great and really care to make sure visitors are taken care of when they visit. Boat rentals and MWR equipment is great. The lodging needs an update but overall it’s a good place to call home base when trying to get out on the lake. We had a blast and both Michael and Amber really went above and beyond to take care of our family and also they were able to get us on the lake on a boat due to a late notice cancellation. I highly recommend visiting.nnCurrently this site is working as “cash only”. Suggest getting Square or similar credit card capability to the location.

Think 1980s summer camp. Very rustic, but beautiful and terrific employees.
