First time there. Excellent food! Great service! Best Country Fried Steak dinner I ever had! My friend had the Catfish dinner and it was excellent! The fillets were huge! The place was clean. We will be going back!

Had dinner at General's Cafe this evening. While my wife and I have had good dining experiences here before, tonight was lacking. My grilled chicken fingers were sooo small it wasn't funny. My wife called them pigeon fingers. As a restaurant, I would certainly have been embarrassed to serve them. And if I did, and they did, I would have given you an extra one or two to make up for their extremely small size. Secondly, our food came out cold. Come on y'all. You can, and should, do better than this.

Not much to really write about. Always seems to be too busy for the number of waitresses they have. Takes a while to get your drinks, takes a while to get your food, and even takes a while to check out. If your going to eat here, don't be in hurry to be somewhere else, cause you will be wasting time. And since you got the time, definitely check out the dessert case.

Very disappointing. Been there multiple times and never had such an experience. Waitress didnt even listen to half the details of our order. If you want a baked potato with only butter, prepare yourself for some sour cream on top. Everything was cold; cheese sticks are supposed to have melted cheese on the inside, not stiff cheese as if it were in the refrigerator. The shrimp were extremely overcooked, and somehow still cold. To be honest, I'm just shocked that the waitress found her way back to our table.

Ordered the country fried steak, which was not good. The sides were good though. Most of the menu is fried food.
