Unfortunately, we had a subpar experience unlike previous visits. My family came in town and was looking forward to a good meal so I suggested Wishbone. Got there right at 6 pm. Was a little smoky when we entered (not from cigarettes). Was told that parties of 5 or over needed a reservation but they seated us anyways as there was only one other party there. They got busier and our orders came out in 5-10 minute increments. Nearly 20 minutes between the first and last order coming out.nnThere seemed to be confusion behind the counter on multiple occasions which caused delay and some profanity. I was embarrassed by the lack of service for drink refills, the length of time it took for our food, and the atmosphere created during dinner.nnThe food was tasty although I don't believe the shrimp pasta portion size was worth the price comparable to some of the other meals. We may or may not visit again. I hate it as this was not indicative of past experiences.nnUpdate: Wishbone moved quite a while back to a bigger location. The food is just as tasty. It does get loud in the evenings with the bar and pumping music in, but really makes for a great lunch spot. I've updated my review as a result of good service as well!

We've tried this place twice. Once at their old location and recently at the new location. First impression was that the food was good, but many items tasted the same because they put their special cream sauce on everything. Second impressions of the food was the same. Good food, same cream sauce. Very little to no vegetarian or vegan options. We came in on a Saturday a bit after 7 PM. They were very short staffed. Took a minute to be greated and seated. I noticed maybe 3 servers and 1 bartender for the entire place. Several dirty tables. During food orders and serving we were told they were out of truffles, crab claws, sour cream, the house cream sauce, and the house sweet tea. They close at 11 PM, a bit too early to be running out of signature items. Meanwhile we noticed about 3 or 4 people in the back standing around talking, eating and drinking. Seems like one of those people could have lended the chef or servers a hand. Despite being short handed, all the servers and bartender provided excellent friendly service. They were extremely patient and polite and handled being shorthanded extremely well.

Love the food here his delicious flavors , little Cajun taste and the signature tea is delicious. It has a hint of pineapple.8-3-18 Blue plate special11-01and Art 10-31-19 They've moved across the street another next door to Walmart bigger location nice ,and romantic location. First timer and the food and service was AWESOME! Now I don't even drink tea but this place right here makes a tea that you can't get enough of... so good! If I'm ever in the area again, I'll be coming back. BIG MIKE WAS MY SERVER AND HE WAS FABULOUS!

When we arrived the restaurant wasn’t very crowded. The server promptly brought us a sample of their sweet tea-which was fruity and very good. This was our first visit and we asked what they recommended-my son had the Louis Armstrong and my friend and I had the Bayou Classic. We all really enjoyed our food, and can’t wait to come back and try more things. The food is always good and the customer service is excellent!
