Loved the atmosphere, the friendly staff were very nice and attentive. I wanted to love the food but didn’t. Specifically the fried chicken was bland and unseasoned, not even a hint of salt. The greens were very salty. The coleslaw was really good. My travel companion enjoyed their food. We will be back for another try when we comeback through Montgomery.

This is a great little place. Food is amazing and the portions are huge! The chicken tenders are perfect and the Catawba burger is great. Loved the fried green tomatoes that come with it. The fries are awesome as well. Ton of food for sure. Next time we are back in Montgomery, we will defiantly eat hear again and maybe try the breakfast.

We stopped in while on a long road trip, our mouths already watering from the photos and descriptions of the food online, and were so happy we did! We experienced delicious food, excellent service and a nice chat with Tara, the owner, about her story and mission. A delightful mix of southern food + southern hospitality.

The food here was dangerously good! We ordered a diverse selection of sides and mains, and I couldn’t possibly choose a favorite because they were all delicious.nnThe staff were friendly and attentive, and they have a good outdoor seating area. We are quite selective about restaurants due to covid-19, but we felt very comfortable here as they had a good sanitation/distancing setup.

She had the Southern biscuit breakfast and cheese grits. She said the pimento cheese should be cold but was served warm and the bacon, fried green tomato, the biscuit should be warm and were cold. Grits were acceptable. I had the chicken biscuit and it was good. The strawberry basil jelly was quite a treat.
