Nice wooded nature trail to jog or while walking the dogs. Be watchful of tree roots sprawling across the pathway. Park benches to watch the scenery along the trail. Only area for the dogs.nSurrounding the lake is leveled pathway to view ducks, geese and swans. Across the roadway is a recreation center.
I love the park, I just wish the city would invest more into it. Was also disappointed this last Christmas that the Christmas light scenes were placed downtown instead of at Moon Lake.
Idle hour park is filthy! Here is an idea. How about hiring someone to pick up the trash once a day. Idle hour park is going downhill fast. FIX IT! Phenix City!!!!!
