Why cant I get an order when I'm sitting in the drive thru

Kind of rush you when you are ordering.
Updated from a previous review of 4 stars as my first impression was that this was a pretty well-run McDonald's location.nnOrdered through the app to pick up a meal for the family and me on the way out of town. Waited for over 40 minutes, card was charged, called location 4 times with no answer, and at this point my money has basically been stolen as I received no product for the money I paid after following the procedures of reporting poor customer service.nnAfter escalating the issue, franchise owner sent me vouchers for about 1/2 of what my original order was worth. To me, that is unacceptable and very disappointing. I know I'll never boycott all McDonald's because they are so handy in a pinch, but this location has absolutely lost my business.
