As a family, we've been trading at this establishment since the Thayer days and have always found staff there to be helpful, both on the retail floor as well as in the pharmacy. They're always up against the wall as one of the chain's smaller stores but they have everything we seem to need. I hope the new store now under construction works out for everyone.

The pharmacy staff is very professional, but the cashiers, mercy! I arrived at the checkout were two were sitting next to me talking, I was waiting a few minutes until one of them got up to answer me, nor did she look me in the face, as if she were answering a ghost. Customer service scores 0 for them.

This store was fine till my visit today. Salome (Got her name off my receipt) who was my cashier wasn’t even wearing a name tag for one and even had just a white shirt on (which to me is not work appropriate to me something nicer would of been better) was very rude. I was standing at the register waiting for her to get off her phone just to ring up my one item! It was very ridiculous it doesn’t matter who texted you customers come first!

My visit today was not a very pleasant experience. After picking up my requirements when I reached the check out station, the cashier was not there. Probably attending to some other important chore and I am ok with that and I could wait. However another lady who works at the Store ( because I have seen her there often ) was present and I asked if she was on her way out. She said no she had just come in. After a little pause and seemingly some hesitation she said she would help out. She rang up the items and towards the end I realized I had a coupon that I had not mentioned earlier and wanted to use it, and I asked that be used. I was stunned when her response was an abrupt “ it is too late now” . I was quite taken aback and said surely we can reverse this sale and do it again with the 30% coupon. Response was “ it is too far gone now”. Clearly not wanting to do anything to accommodate, and seemed to just want me to to pay full amount and be done with. My thought was if the problem was so insurmountable, I could easily buy it as is then immediately return it and buy it with the coupon, but surely there was a way to void the sale where it was to save time and effort of a second transaction. One last time I asked if nothing could be done and asked if now I have to buy as is and use the coupon later in another transaction? At this seemingly very unhappily she cancelled transaction, ran it again with the coupon and we completed the sale. My thought is this could have been done at the very first instant when I mentioned the coupon. Just felt as if she resented my having her go through the extra process to void and start again, and could not care less if I did not get a 30% saving. Makes it worse to know she is actually the manager at the branch. If serving customer is such a chore, I can and maybe will go to another store.

Called to find out about availability of a med and pharmacy told me can't look in system to tell me if another store has, which for the last 10 yrs them and other stores would look and tell me if they have in stock she just didn'tnWant to help
