Out dated bathhouse. In need if some serious work. 5 out of the 6 bathroom lights didn't work. Not heated. Didn't mention you can't get in or out of the Park from 3-6 pm every day. Gates are locked. One would think that would be a safety violation. Washing machine and Dryer was locked up. Wouldn't recommend this for a dog much less people.

Park needs serious maintenance. Bathrooms are horrendous. Toilets do not fully flush. Not all showers have curtains, showers have mold on walls, missing shower handles. No soap or paper towels for hand washing. Needs cleaning badly. The camp sites and r.v. sites are not in the best of shape; fire ant beds, limbs and trash on the ground. No playground like the website says. We were never greeted or met anyone who worked there. Poorly ran.

The campground was not accurately describe on the website. The campground was not maintained properly. The restroom toilets would not flush completely and were beyond unsanitary. Our campsite did not have a fire pit. Each campsite was full of debris. We checked in on a Saturday and did not receive any paperwork. We were unable to find any personnel to assist with any questions or concerns.

What a beautiful place to escape! So peaceful and rich with history! Lots to do for families. We absolutely enjoyed our time there. The park is very well maintained and very clean. Full TV hookups. The roads could use a little work but not bad at all. Check it out if you are looking for peace and quiet!

Very interesting. Could be more informative with restored buildings, and other visual improvements.
