Stopped at Top of the World to pick up lift tickets on our way to lodging. Staff here are always professional and helpful. One of the reasons we keep coming back. And skiing conditions this year were some of the best we have seen.

Location is great. Right next to the Soaring Eagle Lift which is the only other high speed quad lift at Snowshoe. Building is right on the slopes and is true ski in/ski out.nnCheck in is here and open 24 hours. There is a restaurant/bar, pro shop, and rentals located on the first floor. The upper floors are condos which can be rented out.nnMany of the condos inside are independently owned and can vary in style and accommodations.

My boyfriend and I had high hopes for this place based on the other reviews we read, but we were unfortunately very disappointed. When we arrived, the place smelled terrible, like very old ammonia-based cleaning products. One of the couches was broken and tilted sideways. The microwave was unplugged since it was apparently sparking for the last people there. There were bits of food on all the dishes in the cabinet. The A/C unit was ancient and did not seem to work well. Everything in the place seemed like it was from the 1990s, such as a VHS player and large radio. Worst of all, the bed comforter was stained with dark spots, and when we asked for a replacement, they gave us an old blanket covered with long black hairs. I would 100% recommend spending a bit more money to stay in a nicer place. Your entire trip will be better off because of it.

Raining all day still had a blast. Room was decent for the package and right next to soaring eagle lift. Easy access to the mountain

Great check in parking right by the doors to get all your gear in. Ski-in/out lodging to the very top of the mountain. Also, a free shuttle that will take you to silver creek for night skiing that goes until 9pm!
