Great place for skiing.nThe ski courses are varied and quite long. The Snowshoe resort has very beautiful villages. Also if you come here, be sure to have sugar waffles with coffee in the waffle cabin at the top of the mountain in the middle of skiing. You will love it!
Excellent resort. More availability of dining options would be helpful. Lots of places to stay. Our condo at Seneca was terrific. We had a flat tire in the parking garage, and the auto service guy responded very quickly to put air in it. Wildcat Provisions needs to stay open longer - not closing at 4pm.
Absolutely amazing. There were a lot of long routes for varying skill levels that were super fun. Heads up - the “Easiest way down” is NOT the easiest green route down. The resort was VERY attentive to wearing masks indoors and during lift lines. We stayed in the village at Expedition Station, right above the rental station which made the whole experience very convenient.
Four of my friends and I recently visited for the first time. Checking in was quick, easy, and Becky was very helpful and gave us all the information/instructions we needed. Our Condo in Expedition Station was fairly nice, the beds were comfortable, we were never disturbed by outside noise, we had great cellphone service/WiFi reception, and the kitchen was stocked with everything you could need and more! However, the quality of the furniture and carpet could be updated. Parking was sparse, but our condo was within 5 minutes of walking distance of the shops, restaurants, and the ski school was directly below our building. Everyone at the ski rental shop was extremely helpful, personable, and patient making sure we had everything we needed and everything fit properly. Our introduction to ski lesson, led by Maggie, was amazing. She made our first time ski experience so much fun, taught us everything we needed to know, and even picked us up when we fell down. We went to The Junction Restaurant and Tavern for dinner and Jason, Johnny, and Goldie gave us the BEST service we could ever ask for! The food and drinks were also affordable and delicious. Overall our lodging, ski experience, and dining/shopping experience over the three days was 10/10 service and quality. Would visit again, and recommend to all my friends!
So much fun! The slopes are not the widest but still great. Loved the ability to ski in/ski out from our room in Mountain Lodge. The shops were open in the village along with the restaurants. They limited guests inside but that was to be expected. Can't wait to go back.
