Fixd Repair

Do not recommend using this service as a home warranty provider. We have scheduled 5 services, all of which we were provided an arrival window for the service provider to arrive. Each time, the service provider has not shown up in the allotted time and in one case did now show up at all. I currently have a dishwasher that is filled with water and has been for over a week now. We’ve had to accommodate our schedules to make these appointments work and have not received the same courtesy from Fixd. I’d highly recommend you look elsewhere when choosing who you are going to use as your home warranty provider.

This company is a scam. DO NOT USE!!! I would rate with a negative if I could.nnThe first service call that we ever made to them was for a jetted tub that wasn't working. They sent out a plumber who within 2 minutes indicated that an electrician was needed. Fixd was then supposed to send an electrician. They never did, but charged us $125 service fee. After not getting any luck at getting an electrician sent, we asked to have the fee waived since they didn't provide any service. One customer service rep (through chat) said yes. That never happened. Next customer service rep (through chat) indicated that accounting would contact us. That never happened. After a month, I've tried calling the 1-800 number which doesn't get through to anyone, but instead has a long wait and then hangs up. I've tried many chats with customer service on their website with no success at progress or getting anyone to call me. I've used several home warranty companies and this is BY FAR THE WORST. Only use them if you want to be charged for no service and don't expect the company actually fix your problem.

Explained the problem to the electrician. He diagnosed the issue quickly, listened to my assessment and made the repair efficiently. He needed to grab a part, but was courteous and respectful of my time and privacy. Outstanding experience.

Revised: Emailed my information and still no reply. I even called and was told it was escalated. Same tune I've heard before which is why I left. No accountability.Just give me my prorated refund, because you have failed to provide adequate service. Every review as of recent reflects that. Your reply is not genuine and you are only trying to recoup the bad reviews. However only good service and a better sense of understanding for your customers that pay you their hard earned money can do that. Also don't cancel your policy if you have files claims as they will not prorated you and will say your refund exceed the claims. Lesson learned!nnFaulty Home Warranty, they are actually a limited service repair company. Long waits for repairs or if you want someone contracted to come faster, they charge you anywhere from an extra $75.00 to $275.00 in addition to your service fee and any repairs they don't cover(yes you read that right). I've had individuals contracted with them come to my home and damage my toilet during a plumbing stoppage. After attempts were made to fix the issue on more than one service call, my master bedroom was damaged. So I ask for another company to help and that tech broke my fence and denied it in which I have yet to hear from Fixd about the repair to my fence. I then decided to cancel my service as the year I paid had not termed yet, but was told I may not get a refund because they have to deduct the cost of any repairs done. So you can come to your own conclusion, but thought I'd help the next person from making my same mistake.

Fixd has the best customer service - always ready to handle any issue. Scheduling is quick. Sometimes the date or time has to change but they have multiple communication points. I always know where I stand with Fixd - no surprises - very reliable. You guys rock!!!
