Kroger on Main Street in Hendersonville is awesome!!! Want something from the meat department that they don't have? Just ask - they will order it for you if it is available! They are constantly replenishing stock and are ways willing to check for you if you can't find what you need. Staff turnover seems to be much lower than at other stores and many of them know their regular customers so well they ask about family, etc. when you come through their line. They make it feel like a small town grocery!
Polly is a sweet charming presence at the front near the self check out! This Kroger has everything I need, is easy to get around, and even had an overload of Crunchy Pecan Great Grains!
I stopped by on the Fourth of July at about 7:30 PM and at the self check out, Polly was incredibly kind and helpful and even taught me a trick about how to bag your items without the machine yelling at you. She even asked my name, and something tells me she will actually remember it when I come back next time. Excellent customer service! Thanks Polly!
The manager, Melissa, is the rudest manager i have ever spoken to. If she talks to her employees the same way, itsno wonder they won't come to work. Fri night at 6:30 there was not 1 single register open, only self check out and she said she can't get employees to come to work when there is a football game
