Took the wife here for mother's day. Upon arrival we saw an gravel parking lot as far as the eye could see and were informed to find a spot and set up camp. What? Pitching a tent in a gravel parking lot is not camping. I was told that it was due to an event/concert. Which on their facebook, the company stated there was a Body Paint Party also. Thinking it was a separate location, when we got there, we learned it wasn't true. We walked around the compound and noticed confederate flags around every corner, people drinking and driving ATVs and muddling in big trucks rather recklessly, and I saw few children there. We also noticed that we looked to be the oldest people there (we are 31). My wife mentioned 'racism' in her original review, and the company stated that they didn't see racism. I find it interesting, that they are able to monitor every conversation with the 1000 of people that was there.nnAt the end of the day, the wife was unconformable and felt on edge, and after 30 minutes we left.nnThis place has a niche, and isn't as diverse as you would hope it would be.nnSo, if seeing a rebel/confederate flag around every corner, and dealing with that mentality(stares, slick comments) that comes along with it. This is your place to be.
