Windrock Gap Campground

This place has room for campers or you can rent a cabin. The owners are friendly and they keep this place clean. The bathroom is very clean and showers are nice and clean. They have hot water but if there is too many people taking showers you might not have any hot water. They sell ice and wood fire. They have free Wi-Fi so you'll be able to have service.

Wonderful place to camp with super clean bathrooms! This place always exceeds our expectations and the owner is one of the nicest people you will ever meet!

The only place to stay at Windrock park, the owners here are the nicest people you will ever meet, they will do anything you need, clean facilities and campground!

We ride at Windrock Park every November (coming from NW Florida) and have stayed at Windrock Park Campground both at the small cabins and at the RV sites and it has gotten so crowded the last few years it feels like a very busy parking lot all the time. Windrock Gap Campground was the solution! The campground is great! Maryann and Cody are wonderful people that made us feel like family. The campground is quaint, bathhouse is very modern and clean,, water and power hook ups are modern and convenient as well. We had solid rain from Tuesday night until late Wednesday night and there was very minimal puddling and mud- Cody has done an excellent job mitigating the flooding which is common in the fall in that area and the gravel helps a lot- Thanks, Cody! Ice and firewood is available at the office or if you want a loader bucket full Cody will bring it to your site, and he is there to help with any hookups or tank drain tasks (not his first rodeo). There is a creek next to the sites which flows nicely, more so after the rain, very pretty! And a bridge over it and more property to walk around. We ride dirt bikes and the Park is less than three miles from the campground via smooth gravel/paved road, very nice. There is WiFi at the campground but limited cell service but Maryanne told me WiFi calling works fine and it did! All in all a great place with great hosts/owners! Owners are awesome! Cleanest bath houses we have ever seen. Very low key.
