Not a pleasant experience. Took my 2 young daughters to go adopt a dog. We found the dog that we liked and the dog seemed to take to my girls. I filled out the adoption forms and was told to call back on Sat. This all happened on Thurs. before Good Fri. They were closed on Good Fri. Just a little bit before 11am, I called to let them know I was on my way to pick our new dog only to be told the dog adopted that morning!!!! I was angry and disappointed! I rec'd NO phone call, NOTHING!! I had NO idea it was 1st come 1st served basis. I understand the dog was a stray but to not even contact us or even put a notice on the kennel letting everyone know that this dog was already adopted is UNACCEPTABLE. Just a HORRIBLE experience for myself and my 2 daughters!

My big boy got loose today and someone in the neighborhood dropped him off here. I’m so glad they did. He was super happy and they were so kind and friendly to help me out during these covid times.

I went there looking for a specific type of cat. I wanted a sweet cat that was above 2 years of age. Knowing older cats that aren’t babies anymore barley get adopted. I wandered a held a few until I found Taz. I ended up taking him and he has brought so much happiness back into my lifeud83dudc96 they say when you adopt a shelter animal you aren’t just saving them but that they also save you and I 100% believe that to be true! The first few weeks weren’t the easiest however and he really put us to the test. Healing from being fixed and then you had an upper respiratory infection which consists of cat snot all over everything and cleaning their nose and eyes multiple times a day. If anything however I believe it brought us closer and let him know so quickly he could trust me because I helped him through it all. In return he is helping me through college finals week. Truly a blessingud83eudd70
