Amazing primitive camping. Parking right by sites also hidden ones farther down. The road is a little sketchy but it's fine and worth it. Great trails. Right by river. Easy spots to collect fallen branches for fire wood. Some scorpions but not a lot. A large amount of spiders. Flat sites. Tent only. Fire rings. Very secluded. Bad cell service.
Good time, plenty of fire pits around, spaced out nicely. Real quiet even though by the road, minimum traffic,and a nice walk down to the lake...windy road to get there..not gravel..pretty smooth..
Nice camp sites. Firewood a little scarce, but I managed a nice fire. After a long rainy winter, this is my first night back on the road to Nashville. Arrived at night, so I don't know the views.
As always, this place has provided me with a free place to lay my head out in the middle of nowhere--except climbing on the T-Wall is just a few minutes hike away.
One of the most beautiful places I've ever seen.
