The Dry House

My bachelorette party made an appointment here over 2 months ago - I have obsessed over the Dry House brand for years and followed them from afar. To say I was looking forward to this appointment is an understatement! Myself and another girl in my party had Alex. She was incredibly rude, did not speak to either of us & distracted with the other employees in the salon. I am incredibly disappointed after driving over 5 hours for my most anticipated activity that this is how we were treated. The rest of the staff was amazing, so sweet, and welcoming. The staff did comp my blowout after I voiced my concerns - which was beyond the call of duty and the reason for my 2 star review instead of one. I just wanted to leave a review and let anyone know who may be coming from far away.

I went to the dry house for the first time with my daughter. First the price is unreasonable. My daughter wanted braids but the lady did a horrible job doing them. My daughter cried the entire time because the lady was pulling hair hair so hard. Not to mention the the braids looked horrible in the end. DO NOT RECOMMEND!

We had two girls from The Dry House come out to our wedding venue to do my hair, along with the hair of my 5 bridesmaids. They did an absolutely INCREDIBLE job not only giving us each a unique style, but also making a style that fit each girl perfectly. The were very professional, timely, and fun to work with, and I highly recommend them for a wonderful experience!

I feel bad giving a one star review but there wasn’t really anything positive about my experience. The place was pretty dirty and grungy looking. I arrived, they acknowledged that I came in but then ignored me for about 15 minutes without saying there was a wait or anything. It felt like they’d lost my appointment or something. There were no special touches like cappucinos or anything. And as for the blowout my hair looked no different then if I did it myself. It wasn’t particularly smooth or shiny, not full or big and I got the southern one. I also had a conditioning treatment that didn’t feel any different. I had to re straighten it the next morning and wash it two days later. Getting it done professionally didn’t help it hold up at all. For $65 plus a tip I basically got zero values. a huge waste of money!

We booked blow outs for an entire bachelorette party, and everything was AWESOME. They worked on us all, and they made sure we were happy with our experience and our results. The real star is the makeup artist who was able to do all of our makeup last minute in NO time. She was super fast and the makeup was flawless. Couldn’t ask for a better experience.
