If you don't have a truck, don't get off the gravel. Get out and walk. I got stuck in the mud and bottomed out trying to get down to the lake in a sedan. No bueno. Spent 30 minutes laying pinestraw and debris to get unstuck and get out.nnLake and trail are nice.
Very quiet and peaceful
Nice, peaceful spot. Great hiking on the Palmetto Trail. Easy access off the main road.
