While pumping the gas the video will not stop playing, which is too bad, because otherwise this would be a 5-Star review. Not sure who gave them the idea of marketing a variety of useless products during the filling of my tank. I mean, I'm looking to just get a good deal, no gas on my hand, and move on. Inside the Maverick is the "cadillac of gas stations", and you cannot go wrong with the Pork Rib bundle - YUMMY. Cold drinks, great donuts, and staff that you can tell is loving to be there!

Came to this Maverick on Thanksgiving to get a few food items and 2 beers. My daughter who is 21 was out getting gas. She then came in to grab her a soda. She went to the register with me, mind you at no time did she touch any beer nor went into any cooler where beer was and the guy hassled her for her ID. First of all you can have your child with you to purchase beer at the store it’s completely legal. Second him and the manager were very rude. Instead of my daughter going back out to the car to get her ID I told her to just wait in the car, still they were rude and hesitant to sell me the 2 beers!! The manager needs to learn the law!!! Bad customer service here!!

I come here quite often due to the location of this convenience store - as it is close to where I reside. It's not a great gas station but not necessarily a bad one either. A lot of my experiences here depend on whether or not fountain drink dispenser is working properly and what kind of mood the clerk who checks me out happens to be in on a given day (I shop here almost every morning). I usually don't take it personally if I'm treated poorly here occasionally when I'm checking out. Minimum wage in this state is a joke and I know that workers here (at this Maverik in Sandy) aren't paid that well to begin with - and can't be making much more than what minimum in this state is - so it is what it is.
