Love this place like my second home, great camp sites, amazing staff and an overall great place to have a great weekend/week camping.

Camp Black Creek is a Scouting Reservation. Carved out of the wilderness with sustainability and the principle of leave no trace. In layman’s terms that means to leave the property better than you found it. With a 30 plus acre lake sitting smack in the middle of 70 plus acres of forested and boggy areas. The earthen dam for the lake was rebuilt a few short years after the purchase of the land by BSA Coastal Empire Council now BSA Atlantic Council of Georgia.nCamping is the prime draw of this gem. There is a well planned and laid out are for rifle, shotgun plus bow and arrow shooting. A personal challenge course in the treetops. A zip line across the lake. The reservation is split into three sections, Camp Tomochichi is the camp for older scouts, Camp Toonahowie is the the camp for younger scouts. The council also supports an Order of the Arrow Tribe.nIf scouting is something you are interested in or something you’ve done in the past this little gem of wilderness can be reached through the Atlantic Council of Georgia.

Great camp. Our scouts love black creek. Large air conditioned dining hall. Private lake. Cope course. Zip line over the lake.
