I LOVE this school! My son is so happy pretty much everyday and is happy to go back to school on Mondays.
Marrington is a great school! The teachers do an amazing job, the ones I have had the pleasure of meeting have been outstanding and students really learn what is being taught. However, the office staff and principle show discrimination against parents that are African American. I'm speaking from my experiences. I gave it 3 stars because the front office is not what I would call welcoming and respectful to all who enter..It's sad because those are the first faces you see.
I am beyond disappointed with this school. I honestly do not understand how this school is rated so highly.nA lot of the teachers are beyond self absorbed and seem inattentive to students and their academic needs. It’s truly discerning and heartbreaking.nThe school claims that they support Military families and they will try to put on a good front, but in reality, they truly could careless.nI can most definitely say that I am taking it into serious consideration on my children not attending Marrington Elementary next year.
This is a gretlat school and the teachers here are awesome. They give the extra effort for all their students. Even offering after school tutoring to help out those that are struggling! Highly recommended!
We had a wonderful experience at Marrington. Our little cubs were treated like gold.
