Son had a great time. Items to entertain both young toddlers and slightly older kids (up to age 8)
Love that this park is fenced and shaded by large trees. The port-o-let is in need of some serious cleaning. Nasty. My 3 year-old really had to use the bathroom...thankfully he made it all the way home.
Mary Utsey Park in West Ashley is one of my favorite favorite parks in Charleston. I really like the location and convience of this park as you can get to it easily and there always seems to be parking available. This park is cool as it has plenty of open space as well as a basketball court and a tennis court which is nice if you want to do both in the same place. I like that there is plenty of trees and shade here and picnic tables if you want a cool place to sit and relax or have a picnic. This park seems to be clean and well maintained, but also not too crowded which most times makes it just the right experience. This park has been there throughout the years and has always provided a fun time.
Nice little park in the neighborhood. Has some questionable activity later at night, but gorgeous playground, nice tennis/basketball courts, and baseball field. Nice to take the dogs for fetch, or play some tennis with the Mrs.
