Great park in downtown Charleston! There's a large pond with geese (lots of goose poop so shoes are recommended). Nice little bridge that spans the pond and lovely blooms even in February! Many people were out and about doing little photo sessions. Also has a walk path on the inside of the park and a paved area on the outside (better for bike riders). Seems to be dog friendly as well!

I’ve many great nostalgic memories at Hampton Park from childhood to just recent baby shower for Andrew(son) and Emily Kerr at the gazebo. My mom put together a many birthday parties for my classmates and cousins. There was the city zoo on the east side ( no longer there) with the three legged bear and otters that chase one another to our glees. Of course Easter Sunday requires photos among the azaleas and ponds. Great picnic spots and open spaces to play in and majestic oaks to take a nap beneath.

Beautiful park with a large pond, fountain, and good walking area. I often see people taking wedding pictures here, which is a testament to its beauty. If you visit Charleston, I highly recommend visiting this park, especially if you are a flower lover.

There's a nice Paved path that goes around the lake and through different types of foliage.nAt the lake our docs and sometimes swans or geese.nThe park usually is not crowded and it’s very enjoyable to take an extensive walk around the perimeter

Great place for a run or strol in the park with the pup.
