Love the access to the lake. Convient with lifeguards and police presence. Bathrooms and outside showers. Open to the public** not just military. Pay the fee and you can get in. We love going to Overton Park.

This place is fantastic. It's got a bunch of pavilions and picnic tables. The beach is clean, and the water is great. No pets allowed, which isn't such a big deal to me. There is a lifeguard on duty there which is nice. They are only open from 10-6 but that's a good time to go to me. Great place, doesn't get nearly enough traffic and it should. Plan on going there more often. Pack a lunch and make a day of it. The bathrooms are clean, and there is a vending machine for drinks.

It says public access but we just drove over an hour just to find out it’s military ID access ONLY none of the other reviews stated anything about that and it didn’t say anything about it on the website either! It doesn’t even deserve a 1 star rating

Interesting place. Volleyball net in water. Lifeguards, small jungle gym. Multiple picnic tables. Bathrooms, vending machines. Parking very close to beach area.
