this was a pleasant experience to assist in closing our first home. there was an issue at the closing table but Michael Shumaker was so upfront and very clear in explaining what the issue was we were able to get it resolved in the best way possible. The greeting staff was pleasant and the whole experience was great.

They were very professional but personable. They were following ALL the Covid safety precautions which made me feel much more comfortable about being in a small group setting. I would definitely recommend Weeks & Irvine to others.

They are not very available to talk to or return calls.

They represented the purchaser for the closing on the sell of our home. Then they represented the seller that we purchase of our new home. They confirmed the funds being wired on the sell of our home. They wired those funds to the attorney representing us on the purchase of our new home.We waited over an hour to get the keys to our new home. When my wife asked for the keys a staff member which we believe was one of the paralegal said Your NOT getting any keys until we get money in hand. When I arrived about 15 mins later I was told the same thing in the same manner of tone. I got on the phone with my attorney who then got on the phone with someone in the office explaining that they received the wire transfer from Weeks & Irvine and that they were working on the transfer back to them. Weeks & Irvine also had a letter from our broker confirming our loan. I was never allowed to speak to someone who was an attorney or authority at the office.In fact the young paralegal got in my space trying to push me out the door because I was demanding to speak to someone other then him.nI have worked 20 plus years in business and have never treated a customer like I was treated. Nor have I ever been treat like this before by another business very unprofessional. We spoke to several new home owners afterwards about how and when they received their keys. Some were allowed to move in a day before signing, some the day of signing before signing. All were given keys at the day and time of signing paperwork.nSeeing I am posting my issue to those selling your home make sure you look closely at your contract before signing. Weeks & Irvine also quietly slid in the fact that we had to pay for the new home owners HOA fee which was never agreed on by us or our realtor.

Very helpful and professional and kept us informed when a realtor was undermining our sale.
