The food was amazing - every single bite! I usually don't eat cornbread because it is dry but this was so good I ate it all. Wish we lived closer so we could go more often!

My neighbor loves this place always boasting about it really loves the food. I tried it.. the food was good not great. The corn bread was small. Flies were flying around and her attitude wasn't the best either. The best thing is the lemonade/strawberry mix drink awesome drink. I think I'll stick with Nigel's Good Food for my soul food.

We stopped by on our way from visiting some local sights. The food was delicious. We ordered 5 different plates and we were all very satisfied with the food! We tried the baked chicken, Ox tail, baked Mac & cheese, sweet potatoes, Lima beans, green beans, cabbage & rice. The green beans were my favorite but everything had that delicious home southern taste. Smokey & delicious. The Mac & cheese could be a little stronger on the cheese taste but overall everything was delicious. The only downside is the restaurant itself. It’s very shabby. The bathroom seemed really run down. I’ve been in food & bev and an icky bathroom always makes me question how the kitchen looks. Overall if they put in just a little effort to do things like paint, clean up the way the bathroom & dining area look, etc I think it would be a knock out. The food is definitely worth stopping by but I really think they should work on the actual restaurant itself some. Overall I think it’s worth stopping by for some traditional southern cooking. I like Nigel’s too but the prices here are a lot better & you get a ton of food!

Wonderful comfort food. Everything we had was prepared so well. Try the fried chicken. You won't be disappointed.

They food is so good I would eat there everyday if I could I recommend this place for some good ole school soul food best in South Carolina
