I can only focus on one individual and the quick response team. Nurse Monique who truly is a shining star there.at Berkeley community mental health is the very first who I have seen that goes above and beyond. Always available and actually returns phone calls. Genuinely concerned about her patients and their families. She is a gem and glad my son has her as his nurse! The response team has also been a true Blessing in making sure my son was safe for himself and those who care about him. Thank you from the bottom of my heart Nurse Monique and quick response team Berkeley!
I can't speak to the actual rating of medical treatment but I can say that the reliability of appointments, communication, and accessibility of making appointments leaves something to be desired. Today is the second appointment in a row that either our therapist was sick and no one informed us or the appointment wasn't scheduled as discussed. We have called and left messages and have not heard back. Our child's psychiatrist had to contact the therapist in order for an appointment to be made and even then when we showed up, the therapist was not there. We haven't been coming here long but it has not started out well.
Probably the worst place to go, kristi west is especially sorry, she's always rude and doesn't give me refills, I don't even take xanax or benzos so I don't understand why I can't get refills on my medicine that I've been taking for 14 years, thanks berkeley for making me go into the holidays with no medicine, appreciate yallud83dudc4d intervention line is worthless also so heads up to anyone reading this
My brother has had an appointment OVER THE PHONE with this place and they are extremely rude, and argumentative regarding why they are not doing their part as a mental health organization just giving a phone call! I understand the difficult circumstances we are in now but I dont understand lack of planning on their part or difficulty in picking up a phone to call a patient. Absurd.
