Worth the drive! What a beautiful place to visit! The cypress trees were impressive. We opted not to take the boat tour and were very pleased with the trail around the lake. There are shorter trails for walkers with different abilities.nWe saw small gators and turtles on our walk from a distance, but the gigantic alligator in the enclosure is pure prehistoric terror!nThe butterfly house was also fun.nGreat trip!

This place has had to be rebuilt because of the hurricane but they did a great job. I got married here and it was beautiful with all the magnolia trees. The kids love the butterfly House and reptile house. They also have a pretty nice playground. You can also take a boat ride through the swamp. Lots to enjoy.

This place is a hidden gem! First of all, you can't beat the admission price which includes a self guided boat tour and other great areas of the gardens. I thought it was the coolest thing that we were able to take a boat out on the water and look for some gators! The staff was very friendly and down to earth. It's such a great half day trip if you're looking to go out with some family or find a peaceful area to walk around. We would definitely recommend to a friend and would go again if we're in the area!

It was very beautiful. The staff was very friendly. The trials were great. A few more trash cans on the trails would be nice. I am disappointed that one of the attractions was closed and there was no birds out to view. I also wish there were more snack options available in the gift shop. I was happy to find coffee. The coffee was a nice surprise.

This is an awesome place to spend the day with or without kids. The walking trails are well maintained and marked. The butterfly garden is beautiful. My littles loved the little aquarium. The self guided boat ride is definitely a must try. I look forward to many more day trips.
