This was a very beautiful introduction to Oklahoma! The area is very clean, unfortunately that doesn't transfer into the city and some surrounding areas, but my son and I loved our little break here. It was beautiful to get an ontro that gives hope and a strong sense of culture. The facilities were beautiful and the best I've used at a tourist center/rest center. Very clean and high tech with touch-less entry/exit doors to the restrooms. Lots of open space to go earthing/grounding as my son and I try to do as often as possible and this area provided ample space for that. Highly recommend checking out if driving to or from Oklahoma!
It was closed due to unknown reason
I visit rest areas and welcome centers all over the country in my capacity as a professional driver, and this is one of my favorites. The main reason is the recent re-model of the restrooms. They have been modernized, everything is touch-free, and they are kept clean. The visitor center is large and clean. You can't really go wrong by stopping in.
The grounds and parking area were clean and well-maintained and the restrooms were clean as well.nEasy on/off the freeway, and signs were in good order.nWish all states kept their rest areas in as good a shape!
Wonderful little place with a great gift and souvenir area as well as several free magazines and brochures to tell you more about the state. The staff is courteous and help and more then happy to talk with you. The area outside the building is also breathtaking. Be sure and stop here if you are traveling through and get a sampling of the great things offered by Oklahoma.
