A bit pricey but good results
This place is amazing! I’ve been here a couple of times now for different services including blowouts, color, and cut, all done by Sara. The blowouts were fantastic! Lasted through 5 days of backpacking around Italy, and a week in rainy Vancouver and still looked gorgeous! Loving my color too! They even ran out to their supplier to make sure I had exactly the color I wanted. I was growing out a short, very textured bob combined with a hack job I did on my own bangs. I’d had a cut at another salon that I didn’t care for, but was told I’d just need to grow it out more. Sarah was able to work her magic and I’m now loving my hair!! This place has a great atmosphere too. Everyone is super friendly and funny, and it feels like you’re chatting with your girlfriends. I would recommend Val’s and Sara especially!! Thanks for making me feel beautiful!
I had highlights put in by Eric. He was very nice and friendly and did a good job. Although this was my first time getting highlights and I had three different colors put in, today as I washed it for the first time and dried it since having it done, I would have liked to see more even of the highlight colors on each side of my head. I have more red on one side than the other and also more blonde on one side. Overall it was a good experience though.
Yesterday was my first time here, I am beyond impressed! As soon as I walked in the door I felt right at home! Everyone was so friendly and welcoming! Eric is amazing! Not only did he take the time to listen to what I wanted done to my hair he did exactly what I wanted & more! I LOVE my new haircut! I'm a forever client! I finally found my happy place! I highly recommend anyone looking for a new salon to go here!
Val is well versed in the hair styling industry. She is an amazing colorist too.! Took my daughter in for a trim which took about 45 minutes with a wash and dry included. She did a great job as usual. Very fair pricing. We will be returning.
