Thanks a Latte is a true GEM!! It has an adorable selection of gifts paired give to a ton of options for everyone on your list, or even yourself! & grab a DELICIOUS coffee (try the Sunday Brunch hot or a cold brew!!), too! The staff is amazing and so kind & friendly! Thankful to have a place like this to go to! A safe haven — I always feel welcome!
Beware, Thanks a Latte doesn't honor its gift cards. My son gave me a $20 gift card in July 2020 and since I don't live in North Carolina my first opportunity to use the gift card was Sunday February 7, 2021. After placing my coffee order and giving the cashier my gift card she asked me if it's OK that my card is only worth $5 because Thanks a Latte implemented a new card system and the cards distributed prior to the new system are now worth a flat $5.nThis should be Thanks a Latte's issue not the customers and a better policy would be to honor what their customers tell them the remaining value of the card is worth. No matter what I said they would only honor $5 on the card. I'm posting this to make others aware of this issue.
