Zooland Family Campground

The owner goes beyond the call of duty to make this one of the best campgrounds you’ll find. The campground store is the best I have ever seen stocked with all kinds of practical items including hard to find parts for RVs; all reasonably priced. All of the staff are top notch too.

We just stayed here for the weekend and honestly I was iffy at first but it was such a friendly little spot. We had plenty of space near our site. My kids had tons to do and it was 12 miles from the zoo. However the only down part was for a family spot everywhere I looked the staff were smoking right out infront of the game building or near the kids activities. Also the bathrooms could have been clean but all in all great weekend spot

Been going here for years. Love the campground and the peacefulness. Diane is the best. Camp every Easter and Halloween. Plenty for the kids to do. We actually live only 5 minutes away from there but we love to just pack up and get away to relax. I do think the new management has gotten alittle ridiculous with the extra charges and some of the rules but other than that it is a good place to camp. I am a family of five and I had to pay 5.00 a night extra for one of my kids to sleep in my camper. And my mom was charged to come visit us as well just for the day and she never used any of the amenities only hung out in our camper with the kids.

Absolutely love this family oriented campground with lots to do and they are always packing the weekends with loads of new activities, not only for the kids but the rest of the family too!!! Extremely clean bathhouses, friendly staff and a great little general store for all your last minute needs!! This is definitely out go to spot!!

This place was amazing. First time staying here. Love all the different things to do. Everyone including the staff are very friendly. Look forward to staying again. We will make this campground our family choice every time.
