Took an ocean side yoga class with my sister this morning, and it will be a highlight of my trip. It was just my speed and has a great combo of stretching, breathing and strengthening. My favorite was that she offered lots of alternatives and encouragement to work at your comfort level. Pairing that with the sounds and sights of the ocean really made it a wonderful morning! I’m somewhere between a beginner and regular, and i felt very comfortable.
Beautiful Atmosphere to practice! Carla is amazing!
I attended the All-Levels Vinyasa class with Carla during a family vacation to Kure Beach. I loved it! Carla went out of her way to introduce herself to each student before class. She offered lots of options and modifications throughout the class to address the needs of everyone in the room, and gave more seasoned practitioners the freedom to take poses further if they wanted to. The sequence was creative, fun, a little unexpected, but at the same time, logical. Carla held the room in a very nurturing way. I would highly recommend her classes both to locals and visitors, and if we ever find ourselves back in the area, I would definitely come back.
