Denied service for not wearing a mask. I explained that I have a disability preventing from wearing one. I was told that having a disability was irrelevant and was told to leave. The police were called (who were very nice) and the manager had me trespassed off the property. I have all 45 minutes on tape. So now if I return for gas I will be arrested. The Governor mandate provides exemptions from a mask for disabilities among other things. I am protected by the American Disabilities Act and what this store did was completely illegal. So basically Dixie Mart discriminates against the disabled.
We stopped for gas and our car broke down. The staff were caring and attentive to myself and my family. Price of gas was very good. The store is pleasant and the food and drink fresh and well presented. Thanks ladies and gentlemen!
Jan 18 2018,nnThere is a tall white female with blonde hair at the counter who scanned the items i purchased which came out to $8.05. I gave her $9 and she just took it and just blankly looked at me. She did not give me change nor a receipt. If she did this to me I cant imagine how many people have been scammed like this. Be careful.nnI did like their bathrooms though. They were very clean.
Quick stop off route 95 to get gas and snacks.
very helpful staff, i am on a walker and one of th clerks helped to carry my items to the counter. nice store
