Absolutely LOVE this place! The servers are polite and the food is delicious. Definitely try the strawberry or lemon cake if you get a chance, it's so good. It's obvious they've worked hard to get the right atmosphere, the building is beautifully decorated. Half the fun of going is looking at the architecture and furnishings while you eat.
Most tea rooms don't have as an extensive menu as this. I did not get a chance to try high tea but the scones were amazing. I used to manage a tea room so know a few things!! Selection of tea was nice and wonderful to have other choices. I would suggest attention to detail. My food came out a bit cold but we were with a larger party. They weren't that busy but my server was not warm and friendly she was a great technical server. A larger tip for me will always go to the server who makes an effort to treat me as a person. We felt completely unseen as people but again service was excellent. Everyone said the food was tasty. I like more seasoning in things and we had no sugar or cream on the table...maybe due to restrictions? It was a very overall pleasant experience with a few tweaks, it would have 5 stars.
What a cute little place! The ambiance was so fun, and the food was fabulous! Our waitress was so pleasant, and the tea was delicious! We will absolutely be going back!nDefinitely recommend!
The chicken pie didnt have any flavor. My friend got the tiniest piece of bread with her meal. Nice atmosphere but the food was not great.
I went to high tea for my moms birthday. It was AMAZING. the egg salad was great. I recommend doing this as a girls days... great people, great atmosphere, great food.. their Sweet tea is AMAZING
