Paid $4300 after being quoted 3500 to rebuild my 07 Escalade engine. Have had it towed back 3 times in two months for smoking and losing oil and misfiring finally took my truck to another shop and was told THEY NEVER REBUILT MY ENGINE. I paid 4300 and they claim they machined the block replaced the pistons and did a full engine rebuild, my truck has only been 5k miles since the rebuild and is smoking and misfiring very badly i literally got my truck back worse then when I took it in and they refuse to rebuild it just keep doing temporary fixes having to go to court over this luckily I have my receipts and am having a licensed shop tear my engine down and document everything they DIDNT DO. DO NOT TRUST THEM THEY DONT ACTUALLY REBUILD ENGINES they just do “bandaid” fixes. Also they didn’t use antifreeze they filled my radiator with pure water and reused the same gaskets and seals as per the mechanic that I had look over my truck. Sad shame there in business.
