Mr. Tire Auto Service Centers

I walked a mile from house in hopes to get a replacement battery terminal. Super nice guy gave me several options to choose from, and said take what you need at no charged(since it was a simple part). I was happy to throw him some cash for saving my day off. You guys will definitely be my new place for auto maintenance. See y'all soon!!

I went in to have an alignment done. When checking out the guy told me that I would need my rack and pinion replaced which would cost over $1,200. The only reason I even came to Mr. Tire was because my usual mechanic was super backed up. I finally was able to get in to see my main mechanic and had him check out my rack and pinion. The diagnosis was not that I needed a rack and pinion and what needed to be done was an alignment because it looked like my car had not had one done and also have my rack and pinion bushings replaced. My total bill was $215. I had a gut feeling that Mr. Tire was trying to rip me off and now that was confirmed. I will not be returning. Car owners beware.

Update 2020: If I could give more stars, I would. I need to brag on them again. They have given consistently good service at very reasonable rates for the five years we've been in Asheville. However, they have gone above and beyond on two recent occasions. One time I went to collect my car and one of my tires went flat after they pulled the car out of the service area. They replaced the tire, gratis, even though it was 5 years old, and I'd asked if I needed new tires when I dropped the car off for the brake work. They'd said I had another 6 months of life in them (see my first comment below.)nnThen two months ago my car died, and I sent it to my trusty Mr. Tire to be diagnosed. They quoted me the repair work, I gave the go ahead, and they fixed it. But another problem came to light. They didn't have the right equipment to fix it, so they had it sent to another shop across town (not Mr. Tire) AND paid for the work. This brought another cascade problem to the fore. I was pretty distraught - this is the ultimate car nightmare, right? Josh had the car taken to the Greenville Mini dealership and paid them for a specialty analysis. My little Mini is back and humming like a top. They only charged me for the first quoted repair. They lost money on that deal, but I will sing their praises in exchange.nn2018: Good work, fair prices. They never try to make up stuff or trick you into having unneeded work done. I trust these guys.

I really like these guys. I was surprised by how cheap they were vs the level of service I have received over the handful of times I’ve needed to use them. I also have not been harassed about any suggested repairs. I do recommend

These are some good people!! Simple oil change and a tire rotation. They found a couple of concerns with a 20 year old SUV and made some recommendations. Not trying to sell, just trying provide helpful information for consideration. Would recommend to anyone looking for a fair price and great customer service.
